Really unique place and very peaceful location if you’re looking to be away from the hustle & bustle of the city. House was clean and owner was very responsive to any and all issues. Beds were fairly comfortable and the kitchen had just about everything needed. The reason I could not give this home 5 stars is because I feel the value wasn’t there for the price paid. It could really use some maintenance inside and out.

Forest Lodge exceeded our expectations! This is a hidden gem in central Indiana- just 20 minutes from the airport- But a world away. We had a incredible 4 family weekend holiday- with everyone’s drive under a few hours from all Over the state. We are looking forward to booking our next Indiana get together here again!

This was the 2nd time our group has stayed in this great space. We would recommend this highly for any large groups. Plenty of space with a great pool.

It was easy to see that Forest Park Lodge could be an absolute beautiful piece of property. There was so much land, the horse barns and pastures could have so much potential. Unfortunately, everything was so overgrown. Even though there are 65 acres, I am not sure where we could have explored. The areas that were open, were full of weeds. Every time we went outside, we had ticks to pick off. I understand that this is a wooded area, but some of that could be treated. We ended up only catching two very small fish in the pond, not sure how stocked that is. The house was very clean and a large space. However, there were issues with lights not working in the bathroom, lights burned out. Two people got cut due to nails exposed on transitions strips from bedrooms downstairs. There was a chunk missing in the pool bottom, the waterfall/pool was leaking. The deck had many sections that are rotting. The beds were so hard that we barely got any sleep.

We had our annual family vacation at this house. Great space for our large family, pool was great. Lots of fun and memories were made.

The house was great and it provided things to keep us busy as well as offering multiple comfortable areas in the house for just relaxing and talking. The location was secluded so there were no neighboring distractions. There were a couple of minor issues that came up, but the host, and his people, were able to deal with those in a reasonable manner. We will definitely consider renting this property in the future.

This stay was perfect for a small get away from home. My family loved the indoor pool and private surroundings. The house was big and can fit a lot of people if needed. We would love to stay again!

We loved this home! It was beautiful and clean with lots of room. The pool was great and the property manager was very responsive and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made great memories with our family. We will definitely visit again if we get a chance.

Great place for a getaway!

This place was beyond beautiful and quiet. My family loved this place and we will for sure book again. The hosts were wonderful and available for any questions. We loved the indoor pool and the extra space.

My family and I have a wonderful time at this home. The hosts were very responsive and even let me tour the property twice prior to my stay.

Needs updating, Maintenance, deck repair, mold issues

Our stay in Monrovia was truly incredible. We hosted my husband's 50th birthday and the home was fabulous in every way- from the location to the amenities to the excellent communication with the hosts, Don & Randy. Planning our event was such a breeze. We were an all ages group from 3 months to 75 years old with friends/family that traveled the world to celebrate with us - including from Dubai, London, LA, Santa Fe, Chicago and Miami/Tampa. Some flew into Indianapolis airport and caught a quick rideshare over. Others drove from Chicago which was an easy 3 hour trip door-to-door. And the house itself is better than the pictures. There was ample space for our 25 guests to sleep. Each floor had the perfect layout to connect, mingle, or relax. And of course the pool / atrium was the standout feature. We didn't feel the need to leave the property the entire weekend. I'm still getting messages about what a great time was had by all!

Great time had by all. Something to do for all ages 8-80. Really a great place to relax and enjoy each other.

Great house, with plenty of space. The owners were responsive. We took advantage of the pool, the patio, fishing, taking walks on the property, and the ping pong table. Looks exactly as shown in the pictures and as described. All of the guests enjoyed the weekend.

Pool is beyond amazing. This house and property are amazing, and while some things are in need of repair and updating the host is making constant improvements to make this a world class experience. Host communication is exceptional and attentiveness to issues was awesome. We did not spend a lot of time at the property, but when we were there we were in the awesome pool atrium.

Our family had a great time at this location. It was extremely private and spacious and was very clean. The host was also very friendly and responsive. The only disappointment was the pool. It is advertised as heated but the water is kept at 75 degrees (which is super cold) unless you want to pay $25 per degree per day to raise the temperature. Nowhere in the listing was this mentioned until after you book. I questioned this fee before we arrived and they agreed to raise the water temperature to 80 with no fees which was nice of them. However, when we arrived, the water was still at 75 and didn’t reach 80 until the next day which meant we lost a full day of enjoyable swimming. The water chemistry was also not balanced as the water has a greenish tint and was very cloudy and had very little visibility. Overall, our experience was enjoyable but the pool definitely needs some a closer eye watched on it!

Absolutely loved the place the home is beautiful and up to date at the same time.. The host goes above and beyond abd truly would recommend to family or anyone looking to get away go fishing or swimmer bbq 😀

The property was a lovely setting in a quiet secluded area. The home is beautiful. The indoor pool was great for the grandkids. A perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. We had a wonderful time playing games, swimming, taking walks, sitting on the deck, cooking together and making special memories. Thank you!

Our stay at Book A Memory will certainly leave a lasting impression. Pros: The location, the atrium with the pool, the home were beautiful. The wrap-around patio & the lake was enjoyable. Cons: 4-hrs before our arrival, we were notified the hot tub was out of order, we found out has not worked for almost 2 months. Friday arrival, there was a cat odor. Later to find cat hair throughout the basement & atrium area. We discovered a bowl of feces under a cabinet in the bathroom, one of the toilets was not working. Saturday, we had no hot water, more plumbing issues, & sewage backup, which sat 5hrs covered with towels before being cleaned. All this durning a 50th Birthday event. Our chef, vendors, & guest were impacted. We were without water & no bathrooms during the event. A plumber did came out & there were plumbing issues prior to our stay. The onsite property manager was amazing. The experience with the owners was a different story. We had to get Airbnb involved.

Beautiful home and surroundings, the indoor pool, property and comfortable home provided plenty of activities and enjoyment for the entire family.

Beautiful home, secluded property. It’s all good here. Abundantly supplied, clean, easily booked, and great communication. Every attention to detail has been given to this home. Picturesque setting, lots of windows, many deck spaces, and wildlife all around. A great time of respite can be found here. Highly recommend.

We only use about 1/8th of the rooms in this place! It's MASSIVE! Flawless location, extremely private, quiet, and looks exactly as described on this page. Can't find anything to complain about. Host is an extremely chill dude too. Gets a 6 out of 5 from us.

Beautiful property!! We had a wonderful time. Big enough for most of our group to have their own bed/room. Plenty of room both inside and out to spread out. The couple of questions I had, they were very responsive and answered all questions. You won’t be disappointed- very cool setup with lots of memories to be made!

A dream destination for relaxation - and if you need anything, the host and their team are always close to hand. Weddings can be stressful, but this was a godsend for the bridal party!

Our stay was fantastic, absolutely gorgeous house and beautiful area! We all had such a fun time relaxing by the pool and hot tub, cooking together in the huge kitchen, and exploring the area. Also the shower in the main bedroom is the best shower I've ever seen

This property is one of a kind! Freshly renovated with high end furnishings and appliances. The property is gorgeous and private. The house is amazing. The indoor pool and hot tub area is a rare feature and much appreciated. There are lots of gathering spaces whether in the great room, bar by the pool or the deck. There are lots of options for bedrooms and bathrooms. Good internet and tv packages. It was a perfect place for a family vacation. Space to be together, but then privacy when you want it! We will be staying there again. Thank you!
